Build Progress - 7th Gen. Sedan

(i have another thread in the suspension forum on a camber-related question, but here's this for a more general thread...)

i just breathed a little life into my '06 sedan, consisting of:

AEM double-chamber CAI
rv6 jpipe (originally ordered the ATLP w/o 3rd cat delete, but they told me after there was a min 3-week backorder - no bueno)
magnaflow cat-back exhaust

tein springs
koni shocks

plasti-dip wheels and grill housing (removed grill)
removed emblems (not shown in pics).

the vids do the sound no justice. sounds great. throaty growl, not obnoxious. no drone, but i do hear it more in the cabin.

Q: i want to remove the "H" emblem. anyone know a good, inconspicuous plug for the pin holes?

Looks good man...what konis and what teins did u go w? Add some pcd or hfpc to that setup and ull b lovin it even more

Also consider things like the nrg torque damper and check valve delete on the slave cylinder. These two things r cheap and make drivability much more enjoyable. I actually have a modified slave without check valve if ur interested lmk

thanks! been a while since i had the time to tinker. wife, kids, house, life...always getting in the way.

KONI STR.T Street Shocks (the orange/cheaper ones)

TEIN HTECH (gold; again...cheap...i'm sure you see where this is going )

i toyed with the HFPC, but another $500 would have been pushing it considering i told my wife the car needed shocks, and i got everything else. i'm thinking about doing it in a year, right after the next inspection. let's just hope they don't notice my missing 3rd cat.

as soon as i can read up on the "nrg torque damper and check valve delete", and know what they are, i'll let you know if i'm interested. i'm leaning towards yes.

i've also heard that there's a good amount of tuning that can be done to the vtec system. but that entails dyno trials and mucho $$$.

The hfpc won't effect emissions...I have them and never popped a cel. Also the rasp is non existent...if you wana save $200 and gain 2 extra hp with the sacrifice of torque and a lot of rasp then go for pcd, for me it wasn't worth it. I too have htech on koni yellows set to full soft. This is apparently like the oranges and I like the ride, very comfortable

why would something that's more restrictive make more torque? really not trying to be stupid, i just have no idea how it would make more torque than pcds.
