probably a lot, compression, cams, flow of the heads themselves. along with the others you stated.

^ all of the above and it makes less power. about 20-30 crank hp less. On the plus side the j35a6 might be a direct bolt on to the stock tranney.

...are you gonna follow up with a real answer, or do you only have bull**** to say? The latter, just stay off the thread, and keep the nonsense to yourself, THANKS!

It was a real answer. What do you want to know? Do you want to know if it will work for you? I mean...

It's like asking if a B18C1 is the same as a B18C5.

EVERY SINGLE THING IS DIFFERENT.

CAM SHAFT, VALVE TRAIN, PISTON, SLEEVES, RODS, CRANK, MANIFOLD, HEADS, BLOCK, ECU, ETC.

YES the Odyssey long block will yield less power, and you will be slower.

The compression is lower but you can bump it with pistons or decking the heads. Nighthawk is right and he does know his $hit OP.

When sourcing my new engine I could not find a definitive answer to the bellhousing shape on the J35a6. Some I found looked different, some looked the same. The TLS bellhousing for sure is different

I ended up going with a J32a3 that I found for $400 and only had 38k mile (I think, very low though).
