Borla Cat-back installed with pics

Resonating inside isn't bad at all and you only hear it from 2000-3000 RPM. It's just like a slight hum not an obnoxious droning. I like it a lot. It sounds a lot better than stock. It's a little louder but mostly deeper. I'm not sure if it's just my brain but I can feel it pullin harder. I had 5 ppl in my car tonight and still spun the wheels going into second. And it looks really clean.(no ricey 1:1 wheel to exhaust ratio). BPmurr's clip is very accurate to teh way it sounds when you drive. It is larger than stock , I think the pictures are a little deceiving. It also sticks out a little farther than the stock system.

Glad you like it... I just love my Borla too..

If you have V2.. you will get a very nice concert going from 0 to 6500rpm...

I just love the sound..

I live in San Diego so I bought it from Ajusa. I didn't have to pay for shipping since I went there to pick it up and get it installed. I payed 550$+tax for the exhaust then 102$ for install. The install took them about an hour and a half. It was cool because when they were done they detailed my car.

What do you guys think I should do next. Since I already have the borla catback should I get a CAI or just be patient and wait to get the comptech downpipe?

Jliu2k2, where you located? I have a magnaflow system and since you have a Borla system, I was thinking of doing a sound clip comparison between the two.

Im in the Clairemont area.

Something is odd here. Are you sure you got one with a resonator? I called Borla today to ask if my piece was shipped yet and they told me it was still in production and probably won't be shipped untill next week.

Your muffler hangs lower than mine. My tips to the bumper cutouts is not even one finger gap.

Relentless I live in Rancho Bernardo. Rancho Bernardo is right by Poway, Mira Mesa, or San Marcos. I'm pretty sure clairemont is close by. It would be pretty cool to do a comparison.

Oh and Hongda the mufflers can be adjusted a little bit (up or down) The installer asked me if I wanted it higher but I liked it the way it was/is.

Bpmurr has a really good sound clip for the Borla exhaust.

You would need to bend the hangers up or down. Mine needed to be adjusted after installation because it was right up against the sway bar. So they bent it down.

Cool, you live about 10 minutes from me then. Ill PM you when I have a free weekend. Ive been working on this video of our cars for months now.

I'm becoming ridiculously impatient about UR pullys, Comptech downpipe, any ECU upgrade.ANY NEWS ON WHEN THEY ^ WILL COME OUT? I've decided not to get an intake right now because I hear 6mt's will barely get any gains since our intake is already pretty fre-flowing.

Am I the only one from eastlake?

Anyway, I'm still debating on custom set-up or the magnaflow catback...

Hey this may be a stupid question but to whoever has a borla exhaust, did you see your fuel economy go down? I want to get an exhaust badly but with the gas prices going up, that's the only thing holding me back.

Reading these forums is one of the best ways to learn. I work on Mira Mesa Blvd and I see a lot of sedans on that street every day. Look for my car and honk if you see me. I'll set up a meet and hopefully you can join us so we can all talk shop.
