4 inch CAI build- Need some help

Hi guys, need some help building a 4 inch intake on a completely stock j32a3 motor.

I had a look at some other builds, but noticed either parts from different intakes were used, or some used j37 manifold/TB

So starting from scratch, is it better to go with a short ram (just a straight 4 inch pipe with filter correct?) or full cold air intake.

Secondly, anyone know the measurement off the throttle body, to connect to the 4 inch pipe?

which filter, or where do you recommend getting a filter from?

I appreciate the responses, I have never made a custom intake yet, but was glad to see a few of you guys made your own that outperforms name brands.

Stock throttle body matches a 3.25" to 4" reducer. 3.7 throttle body matches 3.5" to 4" reducer.

Get a k&n cone filter.

Follow the 4" CAI thread here and you end up with the option to do short ram. Try both.

Thank you. Yes, will do, more than likely will do a short ram, as I don't want to worry about rain, salt , snow etc.

Anyone else have a 4 " short ram? I will eventually open up the intake side an do a 3.7 manifold/Tb.

Out of curiosity, anyone dyno a j32 with 4 inch intake, 3.7 mani/tb, and j pipe?
