J32a3 swap ecu

My av6 is in process of being swapped with a j32a3 I read on here that my j30 mt ecu will work but it will run lean, how lean? Where can I find the 04 Tl ecu or other compatible ecu? Can I make an auto Tl ecu work? I've used search engine, car will be done in a couple days so I need to know asap so I can get parts

I swapped my old j32a3 into a buddies car two years ago, and he has been running the j30 ecu the whole time with no issues. the stock ecu does a great job of keeping things under control. Obviously, it would be optimal for you to use the correct ecu, but he never had time to do all the necessary adjustments to run the ecu. you have to repin plug A of the ecu and then have a dealer reprogram your immobilizer so that the veicle will start with the new ecu. here is a link to the what wires need repinned

I posted a few ebay links where you can buy the ecu you need on you wtb thread in the classifieds

I run a j32a3 in my av6 with the stock j30 ecu. Does not run lean, confirmed on dyno. Runs great, no issues.

If you want to switch out ecu, I suggest switching to the 07-08 ecu, for the hassle, its not worth going with a 04-06 TL ecu.

What are the benefits of the 07-08 over the 04-06?

From researching this swap before. I saw the biggest advantage with people going with the 07-08 TL ECU was the fact that if you ever need to tune it, Hondata's Flashpro is readily available for it.

With a 04-06 ECU, not only do you have to get the 07-08 Flashpro but you also need to factor in the adapter.

Hope this helps, I can't post links because my post count is low.

I would not use the J30 ecu. Either use a J32a3 ecu or 07-08 and get it tuned
