Intake dyno on AEM V2

Could it be that if you are driving down the highway at 60-70mph you will see more signifant Horsepower increases with a CAI.

Wouldnt the AEM v2 feel like a bigger gain in HP if air was being forced into the filter, rather than mesureing on a dyno.

If Aem claims 8whp-15whp i would assume you would be getting the full whp if air was being forced in the flter.

Can anyone see where i am getting

On a dyno the car is still and just mesures the whp , but if you were driving fast on the road with the induction of air into CAI would assume the dyno reading would be higher

Don't you think someone has already thought of that? Did you ever wonder what the big fans were for in front of the car when it's on a dyno? Temperature is taken in consideration also, along with everything else that you can think of...

running along on the freeway isn't exactly going to drive air into an intake up in the fenderwell. air does flow up there, but not in a manner like it would to make a difference. fans on a dyno help cool the car and simulate a more real world environment.
