PBR Pads?

Well, after 16,000 miles and a set of shelled front brakes it is time to get some new hardware. Before I go further I must preface that I do drive like I used to. My pads have 2/3 left and my tires have a good 15k to go. I have the warping rotor problem that most every one has encountered.

I will be getting a set of Brembo front rotors cut and dimpled. Now my question is what about pads. I am getting the rotors and pads at a steal but it is a package deal. I have the choice of the ceramic strengthen pads or the metal master.

My question is this. If I were to get the ceramic pads even though my driving behavior does not dictate, are the pads not going to function properly because I will not be heating them up as much.

I do a lot of stop and start driving and quite a bit of highway. I just want to make sure I am not getting pads that will not work for my application

Any and all input would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

gordy

for brake pad.. when in doubt.. get OEM..

The only aftermarket pad for you (MT6) are Axxis Ultimate, which is better than metal master.. Axxis metal master isn't even out... we AT6 don't even have them yet..

Oh.. and don't get Brembo blank that is slotted and drilled unless it is direct from Brembo.. most are done poorly and can easily crack.. your choice in this would be either the racing brake, or stoptech's rotor...

ps.. plz check ur PM, I got some question about windows up/down model..

Get EBC Green Stuff!
I had them on both of my old cars... (eclipse n volvo 850)
They provide impressive stopping power...
and low on brake dust...
I'm gonna change it when i can't stand the sloppy brake feel on my car...

Why don' t you just take it to honda and make them replace/fix your stock rotors. Then you can sell them for a bit more after you get Brembo rotors.
