Made the switch

Apparently I wasnt thinking clearly when I bought my auto 2003 Accord Coupe EX-V6. I just traded it in and got an 2004 6 speed. Now I know what fun I was missing!!

One quick question though....what makes the stereo more powerful. The auto has 120 watts and the 6 speed has 180 watts. Is there an small amp somewhere?

Yup, they have an amp. I forgot where it was though...

I dont see a point to add an amp for such little wattage addition... They should have made it like 200watt w/ a sub, That woulda been great.... or at least 8 speakers or something....

Oh well...

I have the same question about an external vs internal amp...if its external I would like to replace it with even more juice. Anyone have any insite? Also, with the exhisting stock system, how are people attaching their subs/amps? w/navi?

I have been contemplating that decision since the day I bought my car. Wanted the 6speed but it wasn't out then.

heh, I have the 04 V6, but I decided that that just wasn't enough for me. I threw in my 800w Power Acoustik amp with my 2 Power Acoustik BL-12's. I know the subs are much, but a lot better than the stock $5 honda speakers. I had a place here in Orlando do it since I have the stock headunit and I didn't want to mess with getting a LoC installed. I'll take pics tomorrow or whenever I get a chance and upload them.
