Doubtful, I don't think comptech will make one, if they do its gonna be atleast 2-3 years of development, testing, etc, only hope might be custom turbo, one member has this setup, but it was reported that his engine took a dump.

Strange how Comptech so quickly released a SC kit for the new CL-S, though, isn't it? Why would they need so much R&D time for the 7th Gen AV6 and not for the CL-S? There's already an aftermarket turbo kit for the RX-8, and there's far less of those cars being sold than the AV6. It makes you wonder...

Is the SC kit also available for the older generation coupe, or do they use the same engines as the current generation, which was released recently? I am not familiar with the Acura lineup as much as the Honda.

I think there will be a comptech SC kit for the 7th gen but it won't be here for a while.

I think the reason why the CLS 6MT/auto seemed to get their SC faster is because its the same SC as in the Accord V6 with a few moddifications.

I have been wondering since last year if there's a way to retrofit the Comptech CL-S SC kit to the AV6 without too much modification and fabrication? Is anyone very familar with the kit?

There's an Acura dealer in Ontario that supplies and installs Comptech parts. There may also be one in eastern Quebec. It would be tempting if I knew there wasn't much involved for a successful retrofit, especially backed by a dealership.

They are making one.. Ive talked to them personally.

However, I believe a larger custom turbo set up would be a lot better for this car. If the turbo is built properly and the people know what they are doing... there should be abolutely no problem with it.
