Unhappy aem v2 vs aem regular intake

any users who had a regular aem and then upgraded to a aem v2

is there really a true difference.

The V2 is obviously louder, has a different design,


is "supposed" to give more gains than the V1, but all that is pure speculation, cause we don't have any independent dyno tests.

If i were you i would keep the stock intake, and remove the resonator. ( by the way please use the search function next time)

That's ok...I want to hear what everyone's experience is about intake. Mostly interested in the V6 auto's.

I have the AEM Cold Air- It sounds good but at low rpm's it just purr's. As soon as you step on the gas and get into midrange you hear and feel the intake pulling. It sounds great when your racing another car, the sound is a intimidation factor. Overall I like it it was worth the $180.00n I spent on it. No regrets..........
