LSD on auto tranny differential

Hi, do you think the Acura CL Type-S 6MT's factory LSD can be bolted onto the auto tranny differential?

Thanks.

no.

i believe the internal construction is different and that you can't just "swap in" the LSD diff from the CL-S 6spd to the AV6 6spd. You'd be better off just finding a used tranny and swapping it in. The Maxima guys with open diff 5 and 6spds have looked into doing that as well and it isn't possible for them either. They have to swap the whole tranny.

no? I was just trying to be cute since you only said yes

I thought people had looked into the part numbers and found that the TL/CL LSD would directly swap over to the 6 speed... maybe not

Find the part numbers Detective.

Why don't you guys contact some well known quality LSD companies to show demand.
