Hood clearance might be the main problem with the Comptech SC kit. Though, no one has tried it yet.

correct me if i am wrong but this is the first year that honda has used v-tec on the v6's. right?
if y6ou go to comptechs webpage and look at the picture of the supercharger install for the 6th gen accord v6 it says vtec on the engine so it would have to be a 7th gen v6 that they used for the pic. right?

that is definitely not a 7th gen in the pic. Anyone know the differences between a J30A1 and a J30A4? I'm thinking they should be pretty similar...

The j30A4 top intake is different plus the plastic cover only cover the valve cover instead of j30A1's almost the top of engine plastic cover

if it was so simple don't you think comptech would have taken the kit and released it for the 7th gens to make more $$$ ? Yes, they would have at thousands of dollars per kit sold.

Who said it would be so simple?

Also, I heard, not sure if completely accurate, that Comptech was coming out with a downpipe for the 7th Gens. Well, its taken them almost 2 years now and there is nothing so even if the CL supercharger is able to fit somewhat they seem not to be on top of development for the 7th gens so I wouldnt put it past them!

Yes, it is being planned for release.. hmm.. maybe when gen 8 becomes available... (scartistic, yes - but that might very well be true too!)

Comptech is a great company that manufacture good or some diehard fan would call exceptional products.. but unfortunately, we (7gen accord) are not on their top priority list..

me for one.. would look else where as there isn't just one company in the entire world.. and certainly isn't just one great company either.. check out other threads and there is a discussion of another company in east coast that have interests to make supercharger for us..
