confused about sri intake

ok so i've decided it's time to get an intake. i searched around and i know nobody makes SRI for our cars. i read on this board after searching around that we can use the 2002 TL-S SRI and it'll fit and work fine. when i called the local tuning shop they said the CL-S SRI will also work. can anyone confirm this?

(i could get the CAI but i'm too lazy to take off the bumper and rip off the resonator. plus i'm goin for sound not performance)

Fyi, the resonator can be removed without having to take the front bumper off. Ditto for a cai install (it can be done without bumper removal).

CAI aren't much different than a short ram they are a little more work but well worth it in the end

Why would you want a Short RAM intake? Do you "want" to suck in all the hot air in the engine bay? The risk of sucking up water is pretty low on our cars, especially since the intake is on the driver side. I was skeptical at first but I have AEM V2 and its perfect.

Cold air intake could be a bigger problem for people that live in new orleans and constantly have to worry about driving through deep puddles
