i dont know how good this CAI would be. I would rather get one off of ebay for REAL cheap and replace the filter with a K&N. Just my $.02

Wish I would have known before I ordered mine, and then it got backordered and delayed. I have been waiting weeks for it and I paid about $40 more. It will hopefully finally be arriving tomorrow though. With all of the trouble I have had with UPS and companies shipping things on time lately I am almost scared to refuse delivery on my current order and re-order it again from JCW.

yea it's VERY weird... i don't know why it's so cheap. i really didn't want to get an intake but 122 dollars was too good of a deal to pass up.

Thanks just bought one. Thanks. This is the best price I have seen. If you buy more then $125 of stuff you get free shipping. code is SSWBF04.

If you use this site, http://www.fatwallet.com/store.php?store=370
You can save an additional 4.4%, you must go to JC Whitney's website from the link listed above.

I was gonna squeeze my order in tonight to get the 10% off but while doing so I was given the same code BSABC04 which turns out is now good through the 19th!!! So you guys now have a few more days to get the discount.

One question, this will fit an 04, right.....?

WHAT COLORS ARE ON BACKORDER? I can't decide which to get and knowing that would make my decision easier..... I have a RED car so I'm thinking RED, but I doubt its a similar shade (it seems darker or more blood red from the pics). I kinda like low key so maybe the flat SILVER.... I want to stay away from anything polished under my hood, too hard to maintain and too BLING. I wish they had black!

Got mine in the mail on this past weekend. Installed is yesterday. FYI if your car is a '04 model, jcwhitney.com does not have '04 6MT listed.

The CAI are for '03 will not fit my my exactly '04. On the intake pipe near the filter their is a piece of metal that your suppost to attach to the car, but it is off by 2 inches. I used wire ties to attach the lower end of the pipe to the mount bracket.

Has anyone had this issue using this pipe?

do u mean it's off centered? or is it "lifted" above the hole about 2 inches. cuz if it's lifted off of the hole it should have came with a rubber looking thing to put between the mounting bracket and the panel u screw it in to. or maybe you just got a defective one? anyways i just got mine today it's sitting at home. my mom called me rite now and told me the package has arrived how hard was the install? how long did it take you? did u leak a lot of radiator fluid?

That's how mine was able to fit... All the CAI's I've used before (including on this one) came with the rubber grommets and/or brackets to allow for adjustments when mounting...

Raff, it wasn't to hard to install. My friend's lil brother came over and it was done in about an hour. I don't think it is defective because the pipe was for an '03 but my car is an '04.

Hmm, as far as I know the 03 and 04s are identical in most major ways, such as engine bay layout.

u were right mine was not anywhere near the hole. i had to use cable ties also to tie it down. otherwise good install. i also checked the part number on www.aem.com and it matched the one on the box so... i don't know. it works well anyways
