Greddy Evo 2 Exhaust System Video Clip on AV6

First of all thanks to our member Sandwiches for hosting these video clips for me!

Okay now I'm probably going to get a lot of sh*t for doing these runs on a public street and I'm highly aware of the risk I was taking. If your going to flame me then please send me PM. I only did this for the guys who requested a video clip of the 7th Generation Accord V6 Coupe w/ the Greddy Evo 2 dual cat-back exahaust system and of course that is no excuse for doing what I did. If you don't approve of clips then fine... just don't blast me on this topic just send me a PM on how stupid I am.

Okay done w/ that... now for the video clips. Just copy and paste the links provided below into your url. The clips are very low quality taken with my digital camera but the sound is there! The clips are just the car running down the street. I currently have the Greddy Evo 2 exhaust system and the AEM V2 cold air intake system. If Borla comes out with the j-pipe it would complete the i/j/e setup and could get some nice gains. Not expecting big numbers but something to be proud of.

I haven't reset the ecu and I will but the car pulls harder w/ the exhaust system added and the sound is amazing! Not your typical 4-banger w/ the raspy exhaust sound.

The video clips!

sweet.

I have one request... When you are coming at the camera all we can hear is the intake taking over. Try recording more when the car passes the camera so we can get some more audio on the exhaust.

I think the last video gives us a good teaser into what it sounds like.

Am I allowed to b1tch even though you are doing something nice for all of us??

That's okay... yours is a positive kind of a b*tch. The intake does take over but the exhaust fills in and fills out where the intake doesn't.

SWWWEEEEEETTTT!!

Thanks man! I've really been hoping someone would post a video/sound clip of the greddys. They sound perfect, defintely not that annoying 4banger sound. How much did the install cost? How long did it take?

At least it wasn't a crowded street, so you aren't that dumb j/k

Thanks again!!

D4mn that sounds nice. Now I'm really debating on Borla vs Greddy, I think I've changed my mind over to the Greddy Evo 2, nice nice nice sounding, but expensive, but worth it.

I want to see some dyno's now of the V2 + Evo 2 to see what kinda gains together those give. I'm like you brotha, I want the J-Pipe

Yes definitely worth the money. You can actually pick up the Greddy Evo 2s for about $755 now. Just go to the thread that ctsport posted above and you'll find one of the members posting some prices he found by searching online. The install only took about an hour with the shop.

The exhaust system looks and sounds even better in person!

Glad I could help a lot of you with your decision. Now all I need is the j-pipe and the vtec controller to tune the car and get some more power out of the i/j/e.

Wow, I really like the sound, but not so much the looks. Do they have an exhaust that looks like stock but sounds similiar to that?

Not flaming, they look OK, just not my style (am I getting old? )

tcador,

In order to get the sound the system had to be designed with larger pipe diameters and a big exhaust tip. Your not getting old because it's just a matter of personal opinion with the Greddy Evo 2 styling.

The tips are huge but it goes extremely well with the roundness of the Accord rear end. Looks very beefy and aggressive. The rear OEM lip will add some more styling and hide away a lot of the canister and piping.

Sounds good but it's hard to distinguish the intake noise from the exhaust noise at some points. Anyway though it sounds nice at WOT. Wanna take a vid from the back, reving from a stand still then taking off? I've got a clip of me launching my 6spd with my Borla and AEM CAI if anyone is interested in hearing that also. Need someone to host a 5.4 MB file. Hey if I get rid of my Borla I'll probably end up with Greddy one day, maybe...

Your clips sound like my Borla and V2 combo which to me is a good thing! I like the look of the Greddy but I'm happy with the Borla so I can't see any reason to switch over. If I hadn't bought the Borla yet it would have made the decision harder.

I'd actually like to hear the Greddy parked at low RPMs. Maybe I can hear a difference there. With this car at 3k+ it's pretty much all intake.

Dude...the evo's sound nice...how's the inside of the cabin at WOT? Any droning or does it sound just as good inside as it does outside? Thanks for sharing the sound clips. I'm not sure where I want to go with my next mod...a set of 18's or exhaust system...

EVO2 for sedan?

Here is the answer I received from Greddy.

Thanks for your interest in GReddy Products
We have made prototypes for the sedan as well, but it is not available yet.
Hopefully it will be available later this summer.
Please check back with our website www.greddy.com for updates
