intake install time

How long did it take you guys to install the intake? I've installed intakes before but the instructions AEM gave me for the V2 seems like it would take at least a few hours. Did you guys have to drain the coolant or is there a way to do the install without draining any coolant.

Took about 2 hours with instructions, a friend, some Mike's Hard Lemonade. We pulled the hose, but didn't lose much at all. Overall, fairly easy to do.

yup when you pull the hose just throw a old thick rag down below the hose so anything that drips will get caught by the rag. .. i heard that stuff stinks if it gets cooked in the engine bay while your driving, but no need to completely drain

No. Not necessary to drain the coolant. Either put a rag down, or pinch off the lines with vise grips or hemostats or equal.

for some reason my coolant drained like a biach, it just wouldn't stop coming out. i just topped it off again so it's all good. it took about 2 hours for me total to install my AEM intake. other than that it's a piece of cake
