weird rattle/ water running sound after installing v2

i installed my intake last week on my 7 gen av6 sedan. ever since, i sometimes notice a rattle at idle from where the intake is. it doesnt sound like a hum as some have heard with the v2. is this normal? also, now i'm getting a water running sound sometimes when i accelerate or turn hard. i did drain some coolant when installing the v2 intake.

Thats werd, cant think of what the water sound would be, its a filter on a stick for all intensive purposes. The rattle may be where the tube goes down into the bumper right behind the battery. The distance between the metal of the engine bay, and the tube itself is extremely tight. If your engine gets a little vibration to at idle, it could easity be knocking the two together. If thats the case, try just putting 5 or 6 layers of ducktape on the engine bay where they hit, yes its kinda crappy, but you cant see it, and it will eliminate the problem.

it may be the condensation drain pan for the a/c. sometimes the drain tube can get clogged. Run the a/c for a while with the car parked and look under the car and if dont see any water dripping thats probaly the proble.

Or, slit a piece of vacuum tubing and slide it over the metal edge (of the engine bay) where it's touching....... if that is the problem.

I know exactly what the rattling sound is. When you open your hood it is positioned right over a metal bar of some sort. Also, the CAI moves up and down because it is not screwed in, it's attached to the throttle body with a plastic cover and therefore moves up and down and rattles because it's vibrating on the bar at times, usually lower rpms when it vibrates the most. Also, the water running effect is your intake sucking in air like a straw when you tap on the acceleration... take a straw and blow air into... you'll get a quieter same effect.
