Which do you have? AEM V2 or Injen RD

Like the title says.

I AM going to order a CAI but want the best one, $$$ not issue on this...

Which do you have and why did you pick that over the other?

(Yea I know we have many topics about them both but here should be final and last one, a poll and a comment, and we can referance this to anyone who ever asks again, lol... If you dont want to post a comment at least vote please.)

I did this because I find them both around the same price now... so at this point I want one with best gains... Also if you have any dyno before and after please post as well...

Thxs

well what i heard was they both sound very nice and they both give decent performance
aem v2 i hear is better for the upper rpm range and injen rd is better for the lower end so u really cant go wrong with either one, also i think the aem v2 is maybe a little louder.

Yea and no, I wont drive in something if it looks too deep or I question it.

But yea I have been in some deep spots but did not care because no intake... I would just have to drive more cautious is all... And if these DAMN hurricanes would stop popin up wouldnt have to worry, LOL this is #4...

Yea but I have an Accord, its not same as a CL-S and I only want AEM v2 or injen, plus thats all thats out right this moment anyway so comptech out of question... Plus I dont think things can get much better... I mean you can only make a CAI intake so good. I am sure at this point nothing else can be done with an CAI to make better gains really.

Injen RD

Going on what hpno7ic said...I got my INJEN because of the claim of lower end gains as opposed to higher end. Like I need more top-end speed anyways. Please no more tickets, PLEASE! It might be minuscule on those compared gains, but what the hell. I love it anyways.

I might just go k&n since able to convert to short ram without cutting up. It just hurts me to much to cut up nice metal. Not to mention the bipass valve (to prevent hydrolocking) is about $60.00 if go with AEM or INJEN.

Since when did we establish which one has better low or top end gains? Just curious because the dyno I saw of the V2 had even gains throughout the powerband pretty much and I have yet to see a non vendor dyno of the Injen CAI

I bought mine based on the comparison that blu6speed gave on this post click here . I think it was just a butt dyno done between he and his girlfriend's identical cars. I realize that the gain differences are probably minuscule between the bands but I liked his write up to I basically picked one. It was a toss up to me anyways since both intakes are given such good reviews. I'm sure you can't miss with either intake IMO.
