03-04 V6 6 Speed Clutch - FOUND IDENTICAL PART

Hey guess what, I called Honda and asked for part number of Clutch Kit and Throw Out Bearing

Honda Said:
clutch kit 22105-pge-305
throw out bearing 22810-ppt-003

Acura Said:
clutch kit 22105-pge-305
throw out bearing 22810-ppt-003

Bling bling!!! They match.
Acura confirmed that it would fit, so it looks like we can use aftermarket CL-S racing clutches in the 6 speeds!!

Sorry, I'm excited I know...but woohoo! haha
TMAN, that's good news for you as well.

So much for waiting for Unorthodox...I'm going with someone that already has one out.

How is that a semi-repost. They are talking about guys with CL-S aftermarket clutches and having issues with that and the flywheel. Plus looking at differences, I did research and got part numbers.
Which means they ARE identical. Which means you CAN put a CL-S clutch in there and be fine, which is what I'm going to do.

Way to go man!!! I will try to find a good race clutch and will let you know how it feels, btw have you consider a flywheel as well? It would be a good save for labour.
Thanks!

If they're the same p/n, and therefore the same clutch, then what's the gain in putting a CL-S clutch in...... you're just putting in the Accord clutch after all.

Or are you talking about an aftermarket CL-S clutch? In which case, the "clutch issues" from that other thread are valid concerns.

Thanks for the find man!! Thats not a bad price considering the company behind it, I thought it would be more expensive.
Thanks!

Hi, Stoner, Ive read on Acura forums that a lot of people are not happy with that combo and theres nothing else out there for their cars?
It also says that many of them replaced back their Comptech combo to the oem ones, I wonder what kind of problems are they running with them?
I will see if I can dig some more info.

I think I saw posts where three people had that combo on the CL Forum. Two of them took it out. I can't remember why. After reading the posts I was thinking I wouldn't buy it.

Yeah, that's what I've been reading and hearing as well.
I kinda got upset about it...but figured I'll just get another OEM clutch for the time being. Anybody wanna place bets if Unorthodox will pull through on the clutch/flywheel combo? lol
