Exhausts for sedan - would this work?

As everyone knows currently there isn't a company that makes an aftermarket exhaust for the 03-05 V6 sedan. Everything is for the coupe and in order to fit the sedan modifications need to be done; whether it is cutting the rear bumper to accomodate the straight tips or having the tips cut and rewelded (but wouldn't that require a tig welder since most exhausts/tips are stainless?)

Anyway, is it possible to just use different/longer rubber hangers for the exhaust which would then allow the straight pipes to fit on the sedan? Would this work? I'm sure the exhaust would sit a little lower but I'm not sure if it would make that big of a difference. Any thoughts out there?

Well if you use long rubber hangers (if you can find such a thing) I would think there would be a sway problem. The exhaust could tend to flop around when cornering, and may bang off the bumper, the suspension etc etc.

Magnaflow comes with an extension piece that makes it fit the sedan.

You are 100% correct!!! The black sedan that you saw on the car domain site has the japanese inspire lights. It then has the taiwan grill and bumper with fog lights. The japan inspire has the different hood and different grill. The bumpers are however similar. So I would call it a mix between JDM and TWM!!!

Uh, well, I actually ended up selling the Inspire headlights and went with an HID retro instead. It wasn't a good year on my end (death in the family) and never got around to do the install. I ended up spending time on HIDforum now HIDPlanet and had someone do the retro for me. I'm just waiting for new capsules and as soon as they come it I'll post some pics.
