Sedan Exhaust options?

I want to upgrade the sound, performance, and looks of my o4 exv6 sedan. I would like to get a full cat back system and would like to know what options we have (dont want to add an aftermarket bumper)??
Thanks B

I too am looking for an exhaust for my sedan. I contacted Greddy, they said that a model was under development for the sedan. I believe Magnaflow has a cat-back for our sedans.

duman,

Where can I find info on the Borla sedan exhaust? I have found info on Borla's site about their coupe exhaust, but not for the sedan. I would appreciate the info. Thanks.

You can ask a personal from kingsmotorsports.com, they are the official dealer here in the US. But as with most Mugen products they tend to be expensive.

Just giving you an option.

I just received an email from Greddy and the response was they "have no plans to make that part." So don't hold your breath for it. I'm disappointed in this.

I'm considering getting a catback for my Hybrid accord and so far Magnaflow has my attention. Summit Racing is selling the catback for $557.95 Before I buy it, i'm just curious as to how much power I could gain and how it would affect my fuel economy based on my driving habits not changing.

I just bought my Magnaflow exhaust from ebay for the same price and it has free shipping/handling not just shipping as Summit claims. Can't wait to put it on my 01 V6 sedan

same here. i was looking into upgrading my exhaust, but $500 seems pricey. i'm not into racing or going 2 seconds quicker. how does this affect fuel economy?

I was just reading a post someplace where a guy got a cat back for his V6 sedan and hated it. He said it was too loud and droned alot esp around 2500rpm. He also said that his but dyno immediately felt a loss in torque!? Maybe I'll just hold off on getting exhaust and continue working on my HID retrofit project.

Bad catback apparently. It depends on which one you get and how big the piping is. You don't want to lose too much back pressure thats why I like the Magnaflow the pipe sizing is 2.25" then splits into 2" piping as compared to stock which is 2" then 1.75".

Mugen twin loop mufflers alone are like $600 per muffler, Look good though I'd buy a decent knockoff for a nice price. Even those can be up to $300 apiece.

who said you cant put the coupe's exhaust on the sedan

i have the greddy evo 2 on my sedan

they all will fit but only need some minor adjustments. make sure you get a good cai installed before the exhaust and once the exhaust is installed you'll feel the difference.

i recommend the greddy because its quite when you want it to be quite and roars when you want it to roar.

i did post somewhere a link to videos of me racing a stock sedan accord and you can see the difference although the other car tried to take the lead by launching before me.

I would love to see a video of you racing a stock Accord. Today I parked next to a stock Accord that looked just like mines just a four banger with tinted windows, just to do a before and after.

Something cool that I notcied, when driving on the freeway some trucks have shiny and very reflective tanks under them that you can actually see your car in as you drive I did this and it was so cool

^ you can... but since the Sedan is like 3 inches longer, and doesnt have bumper cut-outs... you should make some minor modifications to get it to look like it goes there, or else it'll prob look like its short and too low.

but mr vtec... I think I remember that you left yours as is. (no cutouts/extension)
