How detailed are the instructions, and how "idiot proof" is this install, dont have to remove any major parts or anything? Just plug and play?

Depends on what air intake you have. If you have an aftermarket intake it is easier because one of the mounting points is behind the air box. The instructions where made with the idiot in mind. Lots of pictures all in color to make it easier to see. All instructions are also made for your particualr car so you can visualy recognize things near the mounting points in your car from the picture. You will have to remove and replace bolts which are ll included in the kit. I would have to say that if you didnt know what you where doing you could still install this kit, we already tested that by sending a kit to someone who didnt know anything about cars and they installed the kit will no problems.

Give into the temptation. I'm about to. Don't fight it.

Just got mine and installed the kit by myself. I got a silver w/V6P sign one for 04 V6 coupe.

It's basically plug and play. You will need some tools for the screws on the car and two different sizes of hex for the screws come with the kit.

The kit comes with instruction in color printout. It has all the pics of each ground wire point. However, some ground points like the one besides pulley and the one underneath the intake are really hard to reach. It took me total of 3 hours to install it and I spent 2.5 hours just on these two points the one besides pulley is really tight in space and the one under the intake, unless you have aftermarket CAI or shortram, you have to take out the stock intake to install this point. One tip is that you have to tilt the screw a little bit since the screw hole is tilted. That I spent almost 2 hours to find that out If you have someone who can install it for cheap, just go for it

The kit really helps the car to run smoother when in idle. accaleration is improved as well (smoother like a )toyota . But I still get my dome/map lights dimmed when starting. I guess it's because I used those aftermarket white bulbs

FYI... The dome light dimming during cranking is normal.
