one time i was driving while drinking a bottle of poland spring. some of the water from the bottle spilled and somehow traveled from inside my car right into my CAI. needless to say, i hydrolocked. =(

so i'm sure spit could have a very fatal effect as well.

after buying a brand new engine, i just installed a V2. to be safe, i also installed fourteen bypass valves on it. i'm never gonna hydrolock again! sucks though cuz my car is only 30hp now.

Do you think the force of the suction would pull their lungs out of their body?

Yeah, I took my car in for this hyrolock problem. I drove by a lake and thought since there was so much water close to my car that it must have made the air around the lake and my car so much more full of moisture, so with all the moisture in the air I knew my car had been hydrolocked. So I had it towed 480 miles to the nearest Honda dealership. And when I talked to the tech about this hydrolock issue he said there is no way around it. CAI or not, because of all the rain, lakes, spit, tears and piss, there is so much moisture in the air that hydrolock in un-avoidable. He said we should just not drive our cars at all. I haven't for a year now. It sits in the driveway real nice though. Good lookin car. Damn the hydrolock.

This one time at boot camp, I was driving my car by a bunch of kids standing around. They were all sweating pretty badly, and when I drove by, their sweat went up my CAI and hydrolocked my engine. Damn Florida heat!!!

I was reading 'Smart Persons Scientific Monthly' and they had some startling theories about hydrolock. They have found that the massive rise in Accord V6 horsepower is the sole cause behind global warming. That global warming is causing the polar ice caps to melt which in turn is putting alot of moisture in the air, and.....you guessed it......causing massive hydrolock around the world. Accords are obviously most likely to be affected (since they are in fact the most powerful cars known to man) whereas Civics are least likely to suffer from hydrolock......or horsepower for that matter.

Compared to some of the threads I've read here in the last few weeks, this one has been a very welcome relief.

It's a funny thread, just leave it open. We can post stupid and funny stuff, and it does give us a relief.

Umm, when does my AWD kick in? I know my VTECHZ makes the turbos start up, but when does my TCS make the AWD work? I tried racing an EVO for money and I lost, I thought for sure my TT AWD Accord TYPES TLCLSR Euro would spank. It must be the hyrdolock it got from that guy thinking about water and it spreading because of global warming caused by me. I lobe Hunda.

Yeah, this thread it pointless, and probably should be closed. But I haven't chuckled out loud in a while. Funny stuff.

And for the record, hyrdolock is almost impossible unless you drive through streams. Topic has been discussed to death, use search.

And along those lines, it only takes water a foot deep to displace a vehicle, so your car will float, then hydrolock.
Hmmmm, av6 hovercraft, now thats hot. Where to mount the bladders?
