Break cooler question...

is it possible to run something like a tube/ pipe from near the grill through the wheel well at an angle that it would allow the brakes to stay cooler and thus not overheat/ fail?

thank you
alex

well kinda i have never had complete failure but coming to a stop from high speeds can be a verry scarry experience in this car and i was hopping to reduce this problem with some bigger rotors and some sort of a custom system that would keep air on the rotors thus cooling them down (hopefully)

Well honestly its not worth it.

1. Because the 6MT av6's already have brake cooling ducts
2. If your trying to slow down that fast where your having problems, you a. need to slow down, or b. get a real brake upgrade, like RB rotors + pads.

someone correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't heat be more of an issue with repeated breaking, compared to a single high-speed stop? I would think that the deal there would be rotor and piston strength. I think heat affects fade, which would make breaking a little less effective after like the 10th stop or something like that.
