Question for AEM V1 and V2 owners

Do they have the CARB sticker on them yet for the 7th gen V6? The web site still says pending. Don't want to put one on untill the CARB sticker is on the intake.

they should have it.. i have a 6gen with v2 and it has a carb sticker with it.. when the v2 recently came out, they didnt have stickers becuase it was still pending..

i called aem before i bought mine and they said their site are outdated.. if you buy a v2 and dont have carb sticker, contact aem, show proof of purchase (receipt) and they'll probably send you a carb sticker.

I didn't know the 7gen V2 was fully legal or whatever. I didn't know it passed the CARB exemption. F it, just get it and deal with it.

Wanted to bring this thread back to life...I called AEM regarding the V2 CARB sticker and was told that they are still going through the certification process and to check back with them in a couple of months. Whatcha guys think? Are we gonna pass the California Smog Test when it's time for our cars to get tested?

Love the V2! Awesome intake!

You should pass smog. I did. Luckily the guy still tested my car even though I don't have the sticker. He was scared because he almost got caught one time testing other cars.

BTW,

Would any body happen to have a receipt for a 6th gen V2 (I can't find mines) or can get me a Carb E.O. sticker?

Since I last post, I just went ahead and got the V1, which does have the CARB sticker on it. I get suspicious when a company says CARB pending.... for almost two years

If anyone can get me a good clean pic of the carb sticker from the v1, I think I could recreate it (I work in a sign shop). I could reproduce them for a few bucks and mail them to whom ever would need one.

Naturally this would be a 'for show only' item that I would be creating

Never paid attention to it. Didn't care if was legal or not. I just knew I wanted it. I love it.
