hmm, it might, but I'm willing to bet you won't get 5-10 horsepower. And that line "This Cat is for race and performance, off road only." probably means it doesn't have a CARB number and may jack up your emissions

I had that cat for a little while. I did not see or feel any significant gains. It probably only helps out a little bit.

The car doesn't need that cat anyways. Just have a test pipe welded in!!

i'm not sure about catolytic on 7gen, but on 6gen stock cat is high flow catalytic.
few people also had Random Technology catalytics on 6gen and they did not gain any thing but CEL, for some of them.

I suppose the 7th gen high flow cats are for the twin cats upstream rite?
Random Tech's high flow cat has an O2 connector so that what I'm guessing.

How bout the 3rd cat? Any high flow ones?

I would suppose it actually cures the "egg smell", but then again, your dealer can fix that for you, mine did.

THE EGG SMELL

the dealer tried telling me its normal and that its just the gas i use..... I flipped out! Printed out the TSB and took it in there and raised hell.... I just havent had time to take my car in. I am planning on getting the borla cat back and having my cats replaced with stainless piping.

Go to the dealer for the egg smell and get your CAT replaced for free.

Oddly though, after the dealer replaced my CAT, it made my exhaust sound better and alittle louder... maybe the replacement is a less restrictive CAT?
I have a custom catback exhaust installed so it might be different for stock exhaust systems.

Stink on my Ride

I have my 04 v6 6spd coupe in for service(Pa inspec/emmiss) today 1-19-2005. I told dealer about EGG smell and of course he looked at me like I had a friggin square head . Plus I told him about there being a (tsb) about the problem. I was wondering if the Service Bullelitin is valid from Honda of America? Any one have it-I did search and couldn't find it. What is the big deal of them fixing the problem? Thanks, Craig

I think that dealers try to get out of doing any work, weather there is a TSB or not.
