Ballpark Question

Heres a question that has been floating around in my head i would appreciate it if someone more knowledgeable could answer for me.

With all of the bolt on mods that are going to be available for the 7th gen what is a good estimate of how much hp torque one could reasonably expect to get out of the car?

when i say bolt ons i mean it i dont want to hear about boaring out the engine or NOS

Where did you get the custom made Jpipe. How much $ and what material is it made from? (ex 304 stainless?) thanks, C

on the greddy evo2, can you still put a custom jpipe, or would that defeat the purpose of having the exhaust system?

yes you can still do the j-pipe it is before the cat, but he has 2 j-pipes and he has true dual exhaust which = way more power

greddy evo 2 sits behind cat, which sits behind j-pie.. so you're changing different piece..

basically.. our car setup is..

engine -> headers (3 each) -> 2 cats with 02 sensor (if u mess with them, u will get CEL) -> stock j-pipe with some ackward bends that robs power -> 3rd cats without o2 sensor (so u can remove them if u want to but will probably fail SMOG) -> catback exhaust (singple pipe in/out of resonator, then to y-pipe then to muffler).

here is a good starting point to begin reading..

http://www.v6performance.net/forums/...ad.php?t=37353

We done it at La Brea motorsport which is near LA.. (he did it first of course, so prop to him). Cost $750 labour/part + supply our own muffler. The part is from 304 stainless steel if i remember correctly..

oh.. i came up w/ another question. whats the difference between your setup and tman's setup? and can you explain further how tman set his up? i read the forums but they lack detail. and can you post a link for more of tmans jpipe pics? thanks for you time.. i'm a newb to this v6performance.. i only discovered this site like 3 days ago.. and its the first time i've seen a custom job done on the 7th gen accord.
<<< impressed!

could the reason why tman managed to get so much more hp, be because he removed all the cats? whereas you kept the first and second one?
