AEM versus INJEN

Ok, getting AEM or INJEN very very soon, need advice on which one to get. Price is not an issue. Questions I have

1. Which has better PROVEN Performance?

2. Sound quality between the two. Both as loud?

I dont' have an exhaust, so just this cheap upgrade for now, will i see well worth gains w/out an exhaust?

SCC has run articles on this same question for years...

1. AEM CAI has consistently outdone INJEN RD CAI in dynos but not by much.
AEM V2>AEM CAI>INJEN CAI

2. Sound quality??? It's a CAI, of course they're both loud!

Just pick one... you won't be dissapointed with either choice!

I would go for V2 or Injen, not the AEM CAI.

it's either v2 or injen for me, from what i read, i hear both are excellent choices, i just wanna get the best one out there, seems like AEM v2 has a bit more fans than injen, but not by much from what i read in the forums.

i love everything about my injen rd

there is very little difference between the two systems, minor ones at most. performance wise, your looking at 1 maybe 2 HP difference. it doesnt seems to have influence on you, the reason i went with the injen was that it was about $50-60 less than a V2

both are a good choice and i dont think youll be disappointed with either

I've had my INJEN now for about 4 months and I still get excited when I get on it! I bet their is a negligible, if any, difference in HP. Personally, I chose INJEN to save a few bucks.

i got the injen because it was the cheapest, lol. $170shipped isnt too bad for a brand name cai the only thing i like about the v2 is that its thicker, makes my injen rd look malnurished, hahaha.
