Changed Air filter today !!!

As I was changing my air filter today I got the idea to just close up the box with no filter at all and take it for a quick test drive. WOW the car had such a nice growl to it, almost like the G35 , felt much more responsive and powerful and reved to 6 rpm's with ease.

Was this dangerous to do this?

well, not for short periods of time, but you definetly dont want to run for a long time with it. you dont want to suck up a leaf or something. i ran without a filter for like 5 minutes, but the sound from my injen is about 10102830184123 times better.

I've got K&N on mine. Not much of a difference really. If you want growl...a CAI will definitely get you there.

To answer your first post...put the freakin filter back on man! Your engine is gonna suck up a lot of crap and shat!
