supercharger - turbo ?

Um what happen to the sticky about Comptech's supercharger? Question what did the Comptech supercharger do for the 6 Gen Accord at the strip? Anyone got times? I have a auto Accord and would like to slap a supercharger on it when one comes out. Anyone have a guess on what times i could be running with one? Question i had this newer style Cavalier following my a$$ and when I would gas it he would to but I didn't wanna risk getting pulled over for racing a CAV. Just how bad would i beat this kid from a 35mph roll anyone?? I wanted to but didn't wanna waste my gas or get caught doing something stupid. I think he had some work done to it but big deal. It was a 2 door Coupe Yellow with a factory kit on it with chrome stock sucky rims. Might of been a 03 or 04 i don't know.

These threads are always the same. Same people, same posts, same responses. Sheesh. Your better off just getting a custom turbo built for your car.

I have.

But that was 6th gens. But with the number of 7th genners I've seen already reporting auto tranny issues and failures, I'm not really expecting anything different with the newer ones. Turbos are especially nasty on these automatics, although the smoother powerband of the S/C is a bit gentler.

If you're not prepared to replace ($$$$) whatever you "might" blow up by modding, then don't bother modding. Just the other week I saw a post at Maxima.org where some college kid blew up his VQ30 with a 65-shot somehow and was crying and complaining that he can't afford to replace the engine and he's already $3000 in debt to his parents and.... yadda yadda yadda. Don't end up like him.

waste? the point to modding your car is for enjoyment. very few, if none will ever get back what they put into their car.

6-speeds can handle the power a little bit better. I'd be worried about the clutch going out first with any F/I.

wtf? definetly not the redline. that's a edit: ecotec (duratec's the one in the mazda6). ford all the way. i think the saturn's engine is the same as the one in the odyssey. you COULD swap it. i don't see why you would. the problem isn't the engine, its the tranny.

Yes the VUE does use a honda motor. They made them for saturn just as other companys have for other cars. Well Saturn has the ION redline which is a 2.0L I4, 16 valve, [email protected] motor. Well Saturn is supposed to release a VUE redline which would also be supercharged and to my memory it was going to be a V6 supercharged. I have searched a little on it and I can't find a VUE redline ( I need to search more). But....if it is out there even being a Honda motor even 3.5 it may be possible to get that supercharger??????
