intake, exhaust (custom with j pipes), pulleys (when they come out), chip (when it comes out)....shoud be close to 50ish. higher octane gas. ground kit might make a couple. our cars should have almost 300 horsepower made by the engine with those mods. then get the turbo/s/c......

50 whp? My guess for my car:

Using Super Unleaded (91) = +8 whp (10 sae hp x 83%)
Comptech exhaust system = +9 whp (11 sae hp x 83%)
AEM V2 = +16???

Total: +33 whp???

I dyno'd at 216 whp w/stock intake and Comptech exhaust. I was told by the dyno guy that there is a 17% parasitic loss at the flywheel with the 6-speeds so... 216/.83 = 260 sae hp.

Add an estimated 16 whp with the V2 takes me to 232 whp/.83 = 280 sae hp.

Granted I'm probably overestimating the V2 numbers, but 232 whp isn't bad eh?

So with CAI/exhaust/super unleaded = approx 40 SAE hp?

Am I dreaming or what????

I think you're giving too much for the V2, but who knows.

fly, is the +8whp for the 91 octane proved? or are we just going by what the Honda engineer told us?

I can't wait for the gas prices to go down so I can start putting some 91 in my baby.

seriously....

but yes, they say it gives us more power, but some people can't justify $3 more a tank for premium. i do it. whatever.

but i think 300 hp is reachable, but would only be 250whp max. pretty good though for n/a. we'll see once they get those damn parts out.

pulleys and chip.....mmmmmmmmmmmm

unless you have unichip.. then 87 and 91 does make a difference, other than that... whatever gas you use in 6gen doesnt matter..

yeah...i like to dream and I probably am dreaming...but here's my dyno number with exhaust, stock intake and 91 octane...when i go to the same place to get her dyno'd again with the V2...we'll see if the numbers change...

216/.83 = 260
187/.83 = 225

Don't hold your breath. Unfortunately, I don't think the national average for gas will ever drop below $2.00.

Come on guys, you don't add HP per mod. How many times have we gone over this. If a intake gives you 10hp and a exhaust gives you 8hp, you got 18hp right, errr wrong. Please dont fill peoples heads up with false info. When you mod a car, you must realize mods can actually cancel each other out. So is it possible to get 50+hp with bolt on's, yes anything is possible as long as the car is tuned properly and modded in a intelligent manner.

yeah...that's true. i'm just stating that with my stock intake, exhaust, and using 91 octane I got 218/187 at the wheels. now when i dyno with the v2, i hope those numbers don't drop!

ok this is what you do to get 300 hp.

you go look up cars like the tl, the g35, the 350z, the mustang gt. and then you trade your car in for those and presto your making 300 hp, with some mods for the earlier mentioned cars.

When is Comptech coming out with the 7th gen supercharger???? Those guys suck! They always tell me the same thing...we're working on it!

Screw Honda and Comptech...I'm gonna go lease me an Infiniti M45 Sport with the Aero Package and get my 335 hp fix!

03 v6 dyno

They tested V6 6spd on the dyno with the cl- type S both stock in sport compact. the CL was only 3 horses more and 2 lbs toque more. they said they should of rated honda accord 260 and 225 torque. and that was with premium on both. i beat a CL-S with my auto v6 coupe with a full load and only v2 upgrade. he was a skinny white dude all alone! I beat him by about half a car. Image if i had no one in it. Would of been at least 1 1/2 cars.
