The Helix Power Tower throttle body spacer raises the throttle body one-inch. The additional height combined with the unique Helix Spiral Flow Design creates a vortex airflow that greatly increases power output.

Dyno tests resulted in up to a 20 horsepower gain, with dramatically increasing torque, thus improving the fuel mileage.

Dollar for dollar there is nothing on the market today that can compare with the power increase you get with a Helix Power Tower Plus throttle body spacer.
I'm sold...

IMO i dont think so, if your just looking for sound...You can hear it at some points, but the intake kinda flushes it out...

Pro: It's a simple mod. It's cheap. It makes a pshhhhhhhhhhht sound.

Cons: Not many people are gonna do it (dubious claims from manufacturer).
Someone needs to dyno test. If you have CAI, what's the point?

Finally found the manufacturers website
http://www.streetandperformanceelectronics.com/lead.htm

LOL = Maybe next paycheck I get one!

Got the Helix Power Tower spacer today in the mail. Install was hell though, not only was it hard to unscrew the old screw studs, the intake had no room to move back at all. Also, the 2 gaskets and tb spacer and tb had to be held perfectly while you put the screws in too, how many hands to you need for that? I had to have someone hold it there while i put the screws in. I got the tb spacer in place and secured it but the V2 now is farther out, and offsett now, so i had to move the rubber coupler up higher on the tb. So i started my car and reved it, and damn it sounds like my fan belt is worn out, its loud, and a hell of a whistle, and i dunno, but maybe i noticed less of a power gain now!Maybe i just think it feels diff, the only way id know is to dyno it. This thing might be comming out tomorow. Damn these companies making sh1t that claims what it doesnt do! Notes: NOT worth the money, LABOR, or interest!

This spacer is dyno proven to make 2-4 horsepower depending on which model you own. Some people also claimed to get better gas mileage, but I dont know how well someone could prove that. Someone did it on acura-cl.com back in the day when these first came out. Sounds kinda funny too, I love mine

Yes, this was very populour with 6gen people as I remember. Some people love the sound, sound don't - its matter of opinion. As for actual gains, I remember there was some data presented; but I don't remember.

well if you want to do some research about it, it was posted on acurazine buy a member called "duster, or dustbuster" who had a j30 cl. He dyno tested his, he got a 2-3 hp gain from it. I also wonder if he cleaned his tb, this could also help air flow resulting in a gain. I remember my car running alot better after I cleaned my TB while putting the spacer in. -J

Ok well if its supposed to be that loud then ok i guess, is it possible it was put in wrong or......it sure is loud you know, and the power is no greater and i know that i cant notice 2-3 hp but its seems less reponsive, or restrictive now?

Also if any 7th gen auto users have this Helix spacer, have you notice anything different when starting the car?? Now my car doesnt start until about the 80th crank! Whats that about? I think im gonna tear this thing out and send it back and get my $85 back! I think stoner and tx03coupe are right, this thing blows, and it sure 'blows' alright.

iono my car start fine....jsut like normal.....power wise...maybe? more torque....i dunno...i cant really tell if its in my head or its just the whistling noise...or maybe its working...hahhah but it does feel a little bit more responsive through-out the whole band. but then again i dunno if its just my head or what. but my car runs perfectly normal...

You have an auto right? I think ill take the TB spacer off, and make sure its positioned right, then re-install it and try it again before i send it back.
