Cross drilled rotors?

Im thinking of buying a set of cross driled rotors but I've heard from a couple of people they tend to crack...does anyone know if thats true

I had cross drilled slotted rotors and they worked fine but rusted like a mofo after a couple of months! Check out the "What have you done to upgrade your crappy brakes" thread and check out the pics or check out my cardomain site!

I've read about them cracking but that was because they were cheap.

From my experience...I switched to Powerslot slotted rotors because they have anti corrosion materials on the rotors. Performance-wise, they work just as good as the "Brembo" cross drilled slotteds that I had.

from tirerack.com rears weren't listed on site but gave them the part # from powerslot.com and they had them, they were $91 each for front and $83 each rear

I think the only time you would have problems with cross drilled rotors is from hard usage like at the tracks since they dont dissipate heat as well as blanks. My buddy's semi new slotted rotors on his sentra se-r started cracking after an auto-x event.
