slave cylinder replace.

The other day i was replacing my oil pan. While i was doing it i noticed that my slave cylinder was leaking. so i went and purchased a replacement. i dont have nave an owners manual and all the videos i found online arent to helpful. Can anyone give me some tips or pointers for this diy?

#1. Have someone on hand to work the pedal in the car, so you can lay under it to do the bleeding. And move the pedal slowly, in between opening and closing the bleeder valve on the slave. It will take a little time.

As for a DIY for the slave cylinder you clearly did not search. Their are like 5 on just this forum and a few on acurazine. All of them have step by step procedures. Let us know how it goes!

i must be typing in the wrong thing cause im coming up with a big goose egg. think you could send me a link it would be much appreciated.

Yeah but he preferred to bump about 6 different threads just so he could create new topics. That makes much more sense.

If you get a new one you should definitely take out the valve inside the new one and then replace it, just make sure you do a good bleed of system
