CEL - Under Full Acceleration

Check engine light flashes when under full acceleration.

Ideas or thoughts?

Check your spark plugs. Make sure there in tight and the condition of the tip is good

have you got an O2 defouler/simulator? post-cat O2 sensor may be reading high voltage.

probably a misfire. maybe time to change your spark plugs. These engines run rich from what I understand, especially with mods.

Get your ECU reflashed and updated by honda. Worked for me.

I also had a flashing CEL a few weeks ago when doing a full-throttle merge onto a freeway (50-85MPH). Light quit flashing and went away. Came back the same day a few hours later, stayed for about three days, went away and hasn't returned since.

My plugs are OEM Honda about 15k miles on them. PCD with defoulers. Thinking it may be my O2 sensors, they are original and car is pushing 170k miles.

I have some questions about changing he plugs.

Probably mentioned here somewhere, but what brand and type are you guys using. Called the dealer and they want $321 to do the work. I told them to get bent.

I've got platinum denso cuz I'm a cheap azz lol, works fine. Iridium ngk is oem i think, which is best. Maybe when I'm rich I'll feel like spending $10+ per plug. Maybe

Your gonna end up eating the cost anyways cause your platinum plugs will not last 105k. Probably, 60k.
