Question Taillights and Corner lights WON'T turn on

After my retrofit headlights were installed I noticed that my taillights don't come on when my headlights are on.

My corner lights also won't turn on.

My turn signals and brake lights work fine.

I checked the fuses and they were ok. What could this be?

Thanks.

Did you mess with any of the grounds? I'd check them.

Your problem screams of the parking light fuse going out.

Thanks for the reply man.

Are the rear parking lights related to the front corner lights? How would changing the headlights affect them?

My brake lights and signal lights (front & rear) work fine.

I will double check the fuses.

Yes they are. If only your headlights come on when you turn on your lights, you blew a fuse. I'll bet nothing turns on if you only go to the first click on your lights. Everything else will work (turns, hazards, brakes) since they're on a different circuit.

You're right...nothing on the first click

When I unarm/disarm the alarm as well

Curious...how would changing the headlights affect this?

Maybe I checked the wrong fuse? I will check again when I come back from the hospital.

Thanks bro!

Its possible something got grounded when you were hooking up the lights or something. You may have checked the wrong fuse. I just tried looking up a fuse box diagram online and nothing comes up as being labeled for the parking lights. Were it me, I'd pull out the fuses one by one that aren't painfully obvious, like IGN for example, until I found the culprit. Check the underhood fuse panel also.

It was the fuse. I was checking the wrong one

Fuse #4 was suppose to be 15A but was 10A (split) while Fuse #5 was 15A (checked that one before thinking it was #4)

everything is good now...thanks man
