4 cylinders lost compression

Anyone want to guess the autopsy before I take apart the head to look for bent valves, stuck valves, exploded rods, broken heads, (any other possibilites?)

2 of the cylinders can hold pressure, and can hold plenty of pressure. Only cylinders 4 and 6 held.

Was messing with timing belt before this if anyone read that thread, had a few problems. Quite a few. Now I get to do an autopsy on the head before possibly doing a 32 swap or 35/37 heads, valves, crank, and rods.

You can hope its only bent valves after using that breaker bar.

Was the motor ever running with the timing belt problems or were you just turning it over with a breaker bar? (Sorry, I don't know which thread you're referring to so I can't read it).

Interference engine, means don't take the timing belt off, then start turning cams with the force you were describing. Hopefully you only bent valves.

Thats about $400 out of my price range.
Taking apart the heads this week and hoping for the best.

Else, would the best option for power to be dropping in a j32 whole block?
or
j30 block, 3.5 IM + TB

Would consider the heads in the classifieds, but a whole new block is $700 + ship, those heads themselves are $600 and not sure if they include valves. Will have to check to see that I didn't bend a rod.
