Question about 6-speed shifter assembly

I have a slight amount of slop in the circled part, where the shaft goes thru what looks like a bushing and the pivoting arm. Anyone know what I'd need to replace to get rid of that play? Its not a terrible amount, but the freeplay in the shifter when in gear is bugging me

I have a mirror there to make it easier to see exactly what I'm talking about. If its easy or inexpensive to fix, I want to do it. If the entire assembly would have to be replaced, I'll just live with it. I'd also love some feedback from other owners as to what amount of freeplay their shifter has. Mine is about .5" left and right when in gear. Not sure if this is normal, or if something is wearing. All these months owning this car and just now I'm noticing this. lol

No one can at least tell me if .5" play is the norm or a little excessive?
