Need help identifying missing parts

Hi All,

So I bought a used 2004 V6 EX Accord, it looks like its missing something in front of the battery.... I tried googling but I dont know what part number it is or what it even does... anyone have any ideas?

u don't need it. It just channel the air into the resonator then into the intake box. WE usually take that out anyways when we mod the car

I wouldn't worry about it. If anything you will loose a fraction of (1)HP

I don't think you want to be dropping things in there. It could clog up the air filter intake. I would cover it with something.

So if a rag or paper towel falls in, it can't restrict the air flow? The cover must serve a purpose.
