trunk adjustment?

how do I adjust how the trunk closes? It's slamming down and cracking my taillights. Need to get that fixed before I put new taillights in next month.

Your trunk springs have 2 settings. They are quite easy to reset. Take a look at them and try them on the "other" setting to see if it helps enough.
Do you have a lip or wing type spoiler on your car? If so, did you install the heavier springs like the ones that come with the OEM Honda accessory wing?

You could try the heavier springs anyway and see if that helps.

Running no springs on mine, with wing, with no cracking issues. Drops like a tombstone though. You may just need new tail lights.

Why would you have no springs? Trying to save 1lb?

The normal position of the torsion springs are:
- The left torsion bar in the higher tension position -> use the slots that face more out
- the right torsion bar in the lower tension position -> use the slots that face more in toward the trunk

You can run the higher tension springs designed for the spoiler but there is no point unless you have spoilers, if you do that, your trunk will just fly open like crazy.
