I have a 2006 Honda Accord 4 dr 6 speed v6 I been having problems with my clutch this happens only after high rev shifts and more when it's really hot out .Vehicle will not go into gear and some time the clutch pedal get stuck to the floor to the point I have to to lift it with my foot other times I'll be at a light and the car will just not go into gear any one else have these problems. sounds like mine when the clutch was starting to go out, not trying to scare you but mine did the same thing and finally one day driving normally went to shift into second at about 3500rpm book, pressure plate went out. Got a whole new clutch job done and never had the problem since

2006, V6, 6-speed, 135K miles. I've had the same issue for over a year now. Original clutch, strong with no slips, but from time to time the pedal does sticks for a pump or two after a 4K - 5K gear change. Mechanic can't duplicate it, so he didn't want to work on it. I agree that is could be the pressure plate going out.

....I never had that in 140,000 miles on my 6M.

.....then again - freeway on-ramps excluded - I resisted the urge to bounce RPM off the rev limiter. Great car. Dog**** clutch action (the infamous slave cylinder restrictor valve pertains).

could be the master cylinder? mine was toast and i replaced it and the pedal action was fine. though i also think the pressure plate could also be a culprit if this only occurs at high rps. I have the same issue, only with high rev shifts will my pressure plate act up. have to give a few pumps before it works properly

probably pressure plate, try swapping out the fluid and see if that helps.

I have the same issue one time. But I don't rev the car that much unless I have too. When the clutch goes, I'll address it then. Not going to worry about ti now if it is the pressure plate. I mean once the damn thing is apart mine as well do the entire job. Mine has 160k on it.

How much does it cost for a typical clutch job with the pressure plate and possibly the flywheel?

same problem.
I have 4cyl. 5 speed. but getting on the highway is questionable at times. I have to force it in, when traffic is catching up. Only happens at high RPM and repeats when I've been sitting in trafic working the clutch.
I am planning to change the fluid.
otherwise it works perfect, when im gentle.
