Maintenance for Honda.

I wanted to ask what type of maintenance I should be looking into at 70K. I am concerned because I will be relocating to the NW and wanted to take care of things before the move.

Because of the airbag recall, I took my car to Honda and the Honda technician said my power steering was leaking due to the seals or something of that nature. He also said my fluids were rather dirty. But my P/S level hasn't been dropping.

I plan on doing a drain and refill with my fluids and wanted to know if there was anything else I should look into. Like radiator hose or whatever?

I have a couple of un-open brake fluid (johnsen's brand) and wanted to know if it was still okay to use? Or do they have a shelf life.

Anyone else up in the NW who can suggest what I should do to prep my car?

I saw amazon was selling honda OEM fluid. Any one ordered before?

Thank you guys.

brake fluid should b fine as long as its dot 3 and unopened....once opened it wicks moisture from the air even when capped, so use it or loose it once its opened. PS could b an easy fix, there was a recall, dunno if it will help you but put ur vin into the honda website it will tell you any outstanding recalls. the PS fluid can be dirty, mine is original at 120k (ouch) but replacing it wouldnt hurt. get under there and inspect all your lines, if fluid isnt dropping it might just be a seepage at this point.

Thank you sir!!

Is there any write ups for the brake fluid change?

I was at auto zone and there were many types that said safe for DOT3 and compatible, but I wasn't sure. Will just go with what I have I guess.

I inspected everything, and it looks good to me, but I'm afraid that the weather in the North West will cause sudden cracks in my tubes due weather conditions or change?
