Wow, Neuspeed Sway Bars are the S***!

Hey everybody, i just installed both the Front & Rear Sway bars and they are excellent. Cornering is very responsive and my car feels like a ride from Magic Mountain. My car doesnt roll anymore and it feels more stiffer. Anybody else out there installed Neuspeed Sway Bars on their car. I would highly recommend this to everybody. Later

Do a search. I installed the bars as well. You're right they are a night and day difference. Expensive, but hey you get what you pay for.

No **** sherlock. It's different getting someone's PERSONAL experience instead of the manufacturers.

Check this out:

Other post on sway bar options

I'm not sure what the best combination of front and rear sway bars is but the Neuspeed set is $400- I bet you could find a CL/TL set (if the front fits, the rear does for sure) for less than half that price.

Another option may be a comptech set for about $300, but I'm not sure if the set posted in the thread above will work for the 7th gen.

I have an email address to a dealer who is selling on Ebay and quoted me 299.00 +shipping for the Neuspeed front and rear. Post on this site if you are interested and I will see if he can extend that offer to all members.

There's no reason I can think of that sways would mess with warranty. I would be interested in that $300 offer but I don't really want to buy anything till spring time

Any approximate shipping cost?

I emailed the dealer I was speaking of. His email address is [email protected] . I told him about our site and he said he will take care of anyone who emails him looking to purchase the Neuspeed sways, just announce in your email that you are a V6performance.net member and you heard about him on the forum. This helps him out with more sales and us out with more savings. Enjoy, I will be ordering mine shortly.

I'd like to get rid of my heavy understeer characteristic so I was thinking of the thicker rear bar. If I get the front bar also, will I still experience the same front end push but w/ less roll?

Yeah I know. I got a little carried away. Just annoyed at how people always say "Search" without thinking that maybe people have searched and are looking at adding more information. If we all just said search, then eventually no one would participate. To build a community of any kind you have to deal with stupid, slow, lazy people in addition to the upstanding citizen.

Not sure why you would want to replace the rear only. Check out the other thread discussing sway bar for 7gen... it might be un-safe....

Many people replace just the rear, you should be fine. However, if you replace both you should feel a significant difference in how the car handles. Good price. Replacing the rear only could make the car feel slightly off balance but only in very extreme cornering.

It is different....

Upper struct bar install on the suspension tower... the sway bar install at the end link of each way and connects them together...

This is to the best of my knowledge.. so don't flame if i am wrong.. lol..

i dont know if it has been mentioned but it looks as though the 6th gen and the 7th gen rear sways are interchangeable. The neuspeed site shows the 6th and 7th gen rear to have the same part#.

As for the front, the part numbers were slightly different.

replacing just the rear should be fine, the car will handle differently but i doubt it is unsafe.
