Noise when Lowered

Ive searched the best I can and came to the only conclusion that fits my dilemma. My current set up includes function type 2.5 with 12k springs in the front and 8k in the rear. I have about 1 finger gap in the front and rear, so I am not totally slammed. Ky roads suck so bad it is pointless to ride slammed. Even at this height I always hear a loud pop or clunk when I hit little cracks or bumps in the road. Only on small bumps though, big bumps I take it like a champ.
My setting is in the middle from stiff and soft. Not too stiff not too soft and I did not touch the Preload since I still want to preserve my warranty. The noise only comes from the front. I have read many places that it is my upper control arm hitting the top of the shock tower. It seems that is the only reasoning since my shock is bolted in to perfection and rechecked over 10 time to be sure.
I mainly would like to get other opinions from all the slammed 7th gens in the forum. Please help me find a solution if there are some. I already assume some of you guys have dealt with this problem and chose to ignore it. But I have faith that it can be resolved and someone can help this situation. Thank you!

I just installed my type 1's and i did notice that noise you were talking about on certain bumps after i lowered it more. I'm thinking it might be that Tower hitting the wheel also. I am going to try and glue some kind of thick weather stripping or something Rubber to the top of the tower and see if that stops it. I don't know of anything else to do stop that from happening but that. Some kind of cushion between there.

Let me know if that solvs the problem. when i had the type 1 in my accord i didnt get that sound either. but wuen i got my 2.5 i lowered it more and i get that sound on ittle bimps. i rechecked everything multiple times. i have also lowered countless cars on coilovers, springs, you name it. it might be the dampening issue where it alows the shock to come up on little bumps.but big bumps are like riding on clouds. I'm thinking if they make aftermarket upper control arms forour cars that are a littlwshorter with adjustabke ball joint for camber might solve the problem i see the thread on skunk 2 upper fontrol arms for our cars. but havent seen any reviees on it.

can someone here who is slammed on anything experiencing the same issue being this low and here pop sounds on little bumps. if not please state yoir setup for comparison. thanks.

I'm experiencing the same noise from the control arms slapping the shock towers.
In the thread linked below, there's the solution nighthawk used and I'm going to use to remedy the problem. Just gluing something there is a bandaid that will fall off very quickly. HTH.
