Painting v6 spd wheels?

Has anyone ever tried it? Iv googled it and search but I haven't seen anyone paint them. I kinda wanna try it just for kicks to see of it'll look good. I was thinking going for that black wheel silver car theme. Any one got any input?

Silver car with black/gunmetal wheels is always a good look.

They are not the 6sp wheels but just to give you and idea of color.

These are my old 6sp wheels paint black on a 6 gen.

i just painted my 6MT stock wheels will post pics they came out really nice. used rustoleum prime paint and clear. 2 coats 3 coats 1 coat of each respectively. Only thing was I wished I had stopped at 2 coats of paint because they wouldnt be so dark. I did a graphite color.

When you guys painted your wheels, how long did the individual coats take to dry?

I'm wondering if black/gunmetal would look good on my '03 SBP...

I let mines dry over night just to be safe, if you are talking about the clear coat. I just used another car if I needed to go anywhere.

I was suppose to make a vid for my accord but didn't.
But here is a vid showing the same exact methods which applied to my accord wheels. Dry sand & wet sand evenly, degrease wash rinse, tape, newspaper, low pressure gun, paint, clear, let dry till next day. Be sure to do this on a low humidity day.

Black on black. Not sure if these are the 6MT wheels you're looking for though.
