koni yellow or tokico hts?

any opinions..
besides a price difference like what.. $360 between the two
I plan on lowering my sedan looking for smooth ride comfort with the right struts

for 4,000 sedan I don't want to be cheap on struts lol
I don't want coils cause I feel it won't ride smooth as spring/strut combo

I'am looking for that rake look tho definitely do want adjustable struts

I'll probably end up going with tein s-techs springs

People swear by koni yellow and i agree with them, they are great. I wouldnt knock coils though. Try BC racing, Tein comfort ones ( i forgot the actually name), and AMR. I have BC racing and i love them; pretty close to oem ride

Koni yellows. Like said above, life time warranty. I run Konis with ground control coil sleeves. Very smooth in my opinion. Its another option for you. It will allow you to lower and adjust dampening like coils. Konis FTW!

I'm riding on HeelToe Spec Version 2 Form and Functions Type 1 coilovers and it's very smooth. Close to OEM feel but I definetely feel much more grounded to the street.

Don't buy Functions..
I have about 15 different stories about functions from 4 different chasis..
Go Koni, they're simply the best shock offered and come with lifetime warranty..

Just installed HTS about 3 weeks ago. Also come with a lifetime warranty & are adjustable. Paid $360 shipped. Combined with Neuspeed Sports equal a great ride. Have been playing with firmness, Max setting way too stiff, 2 1/2 turns from max setting seems perfect. Just drove from FL to SC no issues.
thisaznboi88 and Chulodee like this.

Pics of your car? How low do they go? Is the ride smooth? Also where the heck did you find it for $360?

So if you don't want the coils due to financial reason, you can get one of these above strut/shock combo since they are better than spring alone? Am I right?

I think I will.

I'm gonna pair these up with Ground Control. You think this would be better than purchasing coilovers?

Honestly, I don't want to spend so much on suspension anymore.

So I was thinking Megan EZ Street or this set up. Opinions?

GC and tokico red is close to GC and koni's IMO and best bang for your buck atm. i've been on tokico blues and GC for years now and still holding perfect.
