Please HELP with Suspension Issues

For the past 3 summers I have been running a 225/40/18 setup on all 4 corners. I am lowered on Tein SS Coilvers with a 1 1/2 inch gap on all 4 aswell.

The problem I've been running into has been my front tires start wearing down on the inside edge of the wheel wall. Very minimal wear on the actual tire thread (as if it was rubbing on something).

The wear is more prevalent on the front right passenger tire. I am not sure if anyone else has experienced this problem but some of my best guessess could be that I need spacers (possibly), aligment (although I've gotten it done and had the same results), or fender roll? I also wanted to know what could I be rubbing?

I was also thinking of putting on meatier tires on the wheels and I'm concerned if I do, this problem will only get worse.

Thank you in advance.

It sounds like you have a set of high offset 18's that need a spacer so the inside wall doesnt make contact with other components. Wheel specs?

Thank you for your input guys. Sorry for the delay in response, I've been slammed at work. To cover a few of the questions; I have gotten an alignment after I lowered the car and try to get it done at least twice a year. The specs on the wheels at 18x7.5 and 45mm offset (offset I am not completely positive about). Fender roll? I considered it but the tire isn't rubbing on the outside part of the wheel well, if it was I would raise the car.

I am using the car as a daily now, I want to keep the 18s on the car year around without having to worry about the rubbing. Right now I'm running 225-40s and am considering putting 235x45 for a beefier tire but I know this set up would reek havoc with my current set up.

Spacers might just be the way to go... Do any of you have experience with 5mm spacers? Which brand? Or should I go with 10mm? I just want enough room to fix the issue, run a beefier tire and not compromise hub durability.

Thank you once again.
