drag radials

hey hows it going guys need help

someone is selling me some drag radials he specs are 205/50/r16 radial tires im thinking i can put them maybe on civic 16" rims n use it for the track but would they be any good in my accord for the track? i think the tires are to small any input would help

All civics prior to 06 were 4 lug besides a 05 ep3

yeah i know but the rims im talking about are the 2012-13 rims the 10 spoke ones i have tried them on the car before n they clear the caliper n they are super light

They are too skinny but running a wide DR, say goodbye to your axles. Won't last too many passes

so you go to a drag race. put on drag radials to get no traction so you don't break axles? that doesn't really make much sense either IMO.

People put on drag radials so you get hooked up launching, improving 60ft time, reaction time, resulting in faster 1/4 time and trap speeds.

There are options for axles if you are willing to pay for it. If you are breaking axles launching, time for an upgrade.

yeah i figured they were too skinny in the future i will buy drag radials but more like 225/50/16 for the accord n if anything happens ill take extra pair of axles to the track just like i do with my civic when i take it to the track with the slicks on always take an extra pair better safe than sorry
