I have not been on driveaccord in a long time but I know there is a thread dedicated to different OEM wheels on the Accord. Maybe it's time we start one lol.

Bringing this back from the dead. I just bought 350z Touring v2 wheels. 18x8 in front 18x8.5 back. Any suggestions on tires? What size were you running on the g35's? I was thinking 215/40's would fit me best (my car is quite low)

alec you're going to need a fender roll if you're running that low with 8 fronts. At least the little tabs sticking off the fender if not a legitimate roll.

8s / 8.5 should use 225 at minimum since I don't think 215 will play nice with the rears extra width. 8 can technically use 255 so 215 is quite low. Possible, but low.

Theres a handful of people Ive talked to running the same wheels and they all have used 215/35's. Thats not enough sidewall for my liking. I just ordered 2 215/40s, gonna try one on a front wheel and one on a back wheel and see how they fit after a roll. I wish I could post pictures but Im too new to this sight

I run "big" 215/40's (federals run almost a size bigger) on my 9.5's with no issue. In your case with the specs of those 350z wheels I would run no smaller then 225/40 all around. Anything more stretch is just unnecessary stretch.

On my spare 18x8.5 et38 or 43 (Not really sure) Kai's I think I can fit a 235/40 pretty easy. On some Evo X's I had I had major rubbing issues with 245/40's but it was because I was tucking the fronts too much.

RSX wheels if you want to stick with 16". Very light (16 lbs I believe) and easy to clean.

Well I got tires for the Z wheels. 215/40 up front 225/40 in rear and it sits perfect. They are Nankang ns20's and for a cheaper tire, I am very impressed. Super quiet and almost as sticky as Federal's. On another note, does anybody know what your thread count has to be in order to post attachments?

I'm also really liking those G35 wheels. I may start looking for a set of those to put on mine.
