Wilwood Big Brake Kit 2003 V6 Coupe

Hi,

I am about to order the Wilwood Big Brake kit for my 2003 Accord EX V6 from Revolution Brakes. Does anybody have experience with the Wilwood 4 Piston Brake Kit? What did you do for the rear brakes? I dont want to use the stock rear brakes, but they are telling me that they dont have a rear system because of the parking brake. How does everybody feel about the Wilwood kit?

I have willwood bbk go with fastbrakes.com they have a package for the front and rear. I also suggest ss line. The brakes do need more pedal force to stop . just and fyi because your moving a fix amount of fluid into 4 piston instead of one now. So if your not tracking the car.I would advice against bbk and do the legend gs dual piston upgrade

I had the Wilwood BBK from fastbrakes.com too and ended up getting rid of it. Pad choice is very limited and the included rotors are complete junk. The calipers creaked and the brakes squealed pretty bad. I swapped to the RL BBK and I'm much happier now. Plenty of aftermarket pads to pick from, lots of rotor choices, and most importantly no squealing. I believe fastbrakes sells the bracket needed to mount the RL calipers if you go that route. Much cheaper than the wilwood kit overall too.

The rear kit just relocates your rear calipers so you can fit bigger rotors. I have it installed and it works well.

thisaznboi88 and ikethegreat, thanks for the replies.

Which RL Calipers are you talking about? Which rotors should I get? I am not impressed by the rotors that come with the fastbrakes.com kit. I would like a 1 or 2 piece slotted and drilled. I don't want to use the stock rear calipers, I prefer aftermarket on all 4 wheels.
